There can be used to
show where something is.
i.e My house is
there. (Show with hand)
There also shows a
statement of fact.
i.e. There are
thirty people in my class.
Any/some
Both some and any show there
are more than one but the number is not know or not important.
Any is used in
questions and negative sentences whereas some is used in
positive sentences.
i.e. Do you have any
apples?
No, I don't have any apples.
Yes, I have some apples.

A full stop goes at the end of
every sentence. It finishes the idea/subject.
A comma goes in the middle of
a sentence to separate two ideas or parts of a sentence.
A question mark goes at the
end of a question.
An exclamation mark goes at
the end of a sentence to show shock or surprise.
Hyphen
1) Compound Adjectives
A hyphen is used to join two
words together to make one idea.
i.e. I have a stainless-steel
knife
These two words describe the
third word, i.e. The knife is made of stainless steel.
2) Compound Nouns
A hyphen is used for new or
unusual compound nouns. It joins two nouns to make a new one.
i.e. The man-hole cover is
heavy.
Shall
and let's
Shall is used to suggest an
idea or ask for opinion.
i.e. Shall I make some coffee?
Let's is used to motivate
someone to do something.
i.e. Let's go to the park
